Guest rooms built in a restored 17th century house. Our lower level guest room was tastefully furnished as if it were the proprietors own suite. Outdoor seating patio at our door and a large patio above. Splendid vistas. Large attractive 3rd level patio and garden. Breakfast in tasteful furnished main living and dining room. Very, very good coffee and breakfast items. Town has two large streams, beautiful bridges and well restored and kept 17th/18th century homes. Nice walking paths adjacent to river. Highly recommend this country retreat.

Loved this place. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious, but be warned access to the rooms are up very old lovely stone spiral staircase. The breakfast is very good and the evening meals were great.

Exceptional, truly exceptional. As frequent users of B&B’s and hotels throughout Europe Le Balcon des Jasses in Espere must be one of the very best, if not THE BEST, that we have ever experienced. From the first ‘Hello’ to the last ‘Goodbye’ the service and attention to details was outstanding. Leif and Lucy are fantastic hosts. Everything possible was done to make my wife and I as comfortable and relaxed as possible. The evening meal and the following breakfast were incredible, Lucy is an amazing cook. The room was comfortable, clean and very inviting with little details seldom seen in other B&B’s. Worth every penny. We will definitely return.
