Breakfast was delicious. Homemade bread, yoghurts and jams. Cheeses from local area. 3 course dinner was very good value, all homemade with dishes promoting the local area. Husband is coeliac, everything was gluten free and gluten free bread was available for him for breakfast and dinner. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was large as was the bed which was very comfortable. We have travelled to France, once or twice nearly every year, for the past 35 years and this by far was our favourite hotel we have stayed in. We will certainly return.

Amanda and Gary are lovely hosts, the bedroom was super, clean. The entire area - the chambres, gite - are very well kept and tastefully decorated, maintaining some original features. Food and drink = excellent. Super little pool to have a dip and cool down in! We would definitely stay there again.

The Auberge Le Saint Maurice is located in Saint-Maurice-près-Pionsat, a beautiful commune in central France surrounded by green landscapes. It is a very quiet and calm place, perfect for relaxing and being in touch with nature. We stayed in an apartment that consisted of two rooms, a bathroom, a toilet, a spacious kitchen, and some outdoor space where you can enjoy your meals while still being protected from the rain. The bathroom was equipped with a bathtub that also had a regular shower. The beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows for everyone. The establishment also accepts pets, and there was a cozy little bed provided in the kitchen for our dog. The apartment is fully equipped with all the necessary items, from plates, cutlery, and kitchen utensils to bath towels and blankets. Amenities such as a television, microwave, coffee maker, indoor and outdoor tables, a clothes rack, and free WiFi in every room are also provided. Additionally, if you need anything else, the owner is attentive and willing to assist. Conveniently, there is a grocery store just a one-minute walk from The Auberge Le Saint Maurice. During the night, the surroundings are so dark and quiet that I haven't slept this well in years. For an added treat, you can choose to have a delicious breakfast for 8€. Overall, our experience at The Auberge Le Saint Maurice was fantastic and well worth the price. The apartment had everything we needed, the location was peaceful, and the hospitality of the owner was exceptional. I highly recommend this establishment for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
