Nice old building done up to a modern spec, the staff very kindly gave me a free upgrade to a larger room that had a steam shower, whirlpool bathtub, nice mini body lotions, good soap, really comfy bed and plenty of space. The room was absolutely spotless, lighting was nice and calm, I was able to dim all the lights and create a cozy space after a tiring journey. Lastly, the staff were lovely and I appreciated the free airport pick-up.

Sere is a fantastic host. We forgot our car key and he made sure to make it available to us upon our return. Our car got a warning of having to be moved during the time we were away and he moved it for us since he had the key. He really went above and beyond what one would expect of a host! The place was nice and well equipped with the small things that make a trip enjoyable (coffee, breakfast cereal, milk, feminine hygiene products, etc...) available in the apartment. Not enough people make that extra effort to ensure that your stay is enjoyable.

Great host, very responsive, pleasant and very accommodative. The place is spacious for a couple, very comfortable, clean and safe. It has portable heaters for cold winter nights, it was -3°C for several nights during our stay. It has all the basic amenities for preparing meals and an ample supply of coffee and tea. Its location is fantastic, just 5 minutes walk to the train station and it takes less than 10 minutes to reach Basel and less than 30 minutes to reach Mulhouse. For those who love to walk, you can actually walk all the way to Basel within 1.5 hours. I did walk to the Basel Border Triangle during our stay and also walked from Basel Christmas Market at Barfüsserplatz back to the apartment. Highly recommended and definitely value for money.

The appartment was very clean and enough for three people. Beds were comfortable. Towels and toiletries were provided. Complementary bottles of water and chocolate bars were placed in the fridge. We were allowed to leave our backpacks earlier in the morning and did the check in later. Very convenient for a trip to Basel and to the airport, because the tram stop to Basel is right in front of the building door and the train station is 10 to 15 minutes on foot.

The property is conveniently located opposite the tram stop, with easy access to Basel or beyond if you want to go to Colmar or Strasbourg by train - only one tram stop to the train station. Short bus ride to the Mulhouse EuroAirport . The property is well maintained , clean, with everything you ll need in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. quite spacious. The host responded very efficiently to all our needs and questions. Highly recommend.

I am French so I was happy to stay in France while visiting...

I am French so I was happy to stay in France while visiting Basel. Because of the poor experience we had in the apartment, we moved to another one in Switzerland. We found a very charming village with beautiful architecture and nature around. Switzerland must have been wealthier than this part of France for a long time and it shows.

Small relaxed hotel in centre of Saint Louis, spotlessly clean, lovely staff, have stayed here on a few occasions, hotel provides a free shuttle service to Basel Mulhouse Airport. Hotel is in a central location, lots of restaurants and bars nearby plus added bonus of a bakery just next door

From the moment we checked in, Mary, at reception, greeted us with her friendly professional and exceptional hospitality. We were early, but Mary found immediate accommodations for us which was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Mary even escorted us to our room. A first for me. Breakfast, included in stay, was delightful too. We will of course be recommending booking for all of our family & friends, and anyone else who may travel to Basil, Switzerland. Loved our stay from beginning to checkout.

The reception and check-in were OK.

The reception and check-in were OK. However, upon arriving at the 2nd-floor corridor, the strong smell of air fresheners or cleaning products was quite unpleasant. Entering the room, the smell was again unpleasant, reminiscent of an old and unclean carpet. Cleanliness is definitely not their strongest aspect; the floor was dirty and covered with a cheap, smelly carpet. Additionally, the room in general, and the toilet area in particular, were worn out and poorly maintained. I stayed in a room with two single beds. One mattress was saggy and uncomfortable, so I switched to the second bed, which was better. The location is perfect if you want to visit Basel. The staff at the front desk were nice and helpful, and the breakfast was good. There is also a nice supermarket and bakery just across the road.

We reached the property at night and received a call from...

We reached the property at night and received a call from the host prior, who was very friendly. Once we reached the property, we weren't able to locate the exact apartment nor find the right parking lot. Thanks to a neighbour who helped in getting us to the property and also advised us to park in one of parking allotted space whichever is free.

really nice apart hotel in Saint Louis (remember if you are coming out of the airport to leave by the 'france' door). really comfy beds, nice bathroom, and everything you could need in the kitchen area. i arrived really late because of my flight, and had to leave at 05.30am, so it was a flying visit, but i slept like a baby. now im over 60 the things that matter were all here, friendly reception, comfy bed with fresh sheets, and a really good pressured shower. good value for money.

The position is very strategic due to the closeness to the airport: you can easily take the bus from the airport to the centre of Basel, since it's just a 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Then, in case you want to make a trip across Switzerland, you can take a bus from the airport. I think this is the best solution in case you want either to visit Basel without spending too much money or to have a short stop to visit other cities in Switzerland.

We stayed at the apartment for one night only because of a late flight. It was the perfect location as it is close to the airport and we could check in late. If you don't get there by car you can take the bus from the airport and stop at Saint Louis gare, then the place is 10 minutes away by walk. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and clean!

The staff were very friendly. The hotel had a nice, old-fashioned feel, reminiscent of old Europe. However, the facilities were adequately modernized, for example, the wi-fi was very good, sufficient for online meetings. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone using Basel EuroAirport. It is easy to access Basel city, too.

A charming historic building. An exceptionally attractive room with quirky furnishings - a very welcome contrast with bland chain hotel rooms. A huge bathroom with separate toilet. Charming and helpful reception staff who arranged free taxi to airport. A very good breakfast.
