We loved it here, we booked this after a last minute flight cancellation and were pleasantly surprised by everything they had to offer at the property. The bar was self service, food was served buffet style and it was delicious and the property offered everything you could ask for, beautiful outdoor seating, nordic baths, cinema, game room, library. We had a wonderful stay and wished we had more time to enjoy the place. .

Villa Castoria is wonderful. A large villa full of color and modern art. Our room was very comfortable, clean and peaceful, overlooking the large garden. Our host made us feel very welcome and helped us find our way around. San-Germain is a beautiful, lively town in it’s own right but is also a super base for visiting Paris with regular trains to downtown. Our car could spend the stay in a free private parking without the need for traffic stress.

The room is the wing of the owners cottage. It has separate entrance, it’s spacey, clean and comfortable. New and very peasant to stay. It was either rainy or quite cold outside during the 2 days of our stay in this place, and in the room it was warm and cosy. The rom is nicely combining modern facilities and stylish wooden furniture with history. Another benefit is possibility to park the car inside the territory. We didn’t use the car during the stay because in the town it’s pleasant to walk and observe the houses, and for going to Paris we used a railway - super fast and easy. The owners are a very nice couple, we enjoyed both - the conversations and the home-made breakfast. Special gratitude for the recommendation to visit museum of Mauris Denis. Very good museum that was open even on Sunday! If we are back to Paris by car, we definitely would stay in this place again.

The apartment is very nice, comfortable and well equipped. I appreciated the washing machine as I stayed in Saint Germain-en-Laye for 2 weeks for working reasons, and the coffee machine. The apartment is right in the town centre where there are shops, restaurants, supermarkets and everything you need. The castle (national museum of archaeology) and the train station RER are less than 5 minutes away on foot. The hosts are very helpful ad reactive. It's a perfect place also to visit Paris, as with the RER it's easy to reach Paris' city centre.

It's a very smart upmarket town with delightful shops.

It's a very smart upmarket town with delightful shops. The Friday Market in central square was just wonderful. The Chateau and surrounding parkland are beautiful with spectacular views of the River Seine and Paris. Wonderful transport connections (train or bus) to Versailles or into central Paris - we stayed here but it would also make a great day out.

I was already familiar with St Germain en Laye, but from years ago. It’s a lovely place to stay, and now the RER makes travel more convenient. There are also handy local buses. The shops, market and cafes are all excellent, food not overpriced. The chateau, its gardens and terrace are impressive, with views towards Paris.

All was well except for whatever had to do with service and dinner + breakfast. Breakfast was a disaster. No more food, no personnel to ask to, everyone complaining but close to no reaction. Dinner : main course was cold and we waited for so much time before we could it. I would not recommend this place. Personnel is lacking and is not acting as they should.

We love St Germain-en-Laye with its history, chateau, market place, good shops and restaurants.The beautiful park with its views across to Paris and its flowery gardens which are beautiful in the Spring through Autumn. It is easy to stroll around and admire the buildings. The Musee Maurice Denis, in a former priory, is a short walk from the town centre and well worth a visit. We had dinner at Chez Lulu in Rue St Pierre and enjoyed a really good meal in a very pleasant ambiance. The service was attentive. Coffee is very expensive in the town! We hope to return.

Saint-Germaint-en-Laye is great town to visit for a day or two. As well as the upmarket feel of numerous clothes shops, high quality patisseries and chocolatiers, the highlight is the Le Notre Terrace next to the chateau, with magnificent views of Paris in the distance. Worth going on a market day in the centre. The RER station is next to the Chateau and a 4 minute walk to the Centre.

It is a beautiful little town with a grand chateau featuring a semi-formal garden for a stroll and distant views of the Paris skyline. Delightful shops. Fast trains to Paris and a wonderful market on Friday mornings (and Tuesdays too I think?).

Very clean, fully equipped, good quality linens. Only a 15 minute walk to the train station, the location is great for getting directly into Paris on the RER. The town of Saint Germain en Laye is nice too. We had a very enjoyable stay and highly recommend this place. Communication with the owner is great, they really go above and beyond to help out and make recommendations.

This very new apartment hotel is very handy for those wanting to explore the west of Paris including Giverny, Versailles and so much more. Little kitchen, walk in shower on bathroom and wide beds. Very clean; very good wifi and a wonderfully efficient laundry. Free parking also valued

This is a fantastic hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly, facilities were great, and it's a short walk to the train station with regular direct trains to the centre of Paris. There is also a secure car park.
