Very special location with super nice and helpful hosts. Breakfast is awesome. We were on our trip from Germany to Spain and this was a great place to stop and rest next to La Rochelle.

Amazing location and hosts, very warm welcome after travelling over 200 miles on motorbikes. Dinner and beer very reasonable. Secure parking for our motorbikes.

My stay at La Burie has most definitely been the highlight of my 10day bike packing tour. Genevieve has been a superb host- great reception, providing fantastic breakfast with lots of homemade stuff and even offering a delicious dinner which was totally unexpected! The rooms are completely renovated and super nicely decorated. I more than recommend this place! ☺️

Our stay at the chateau couldn’t have been more perfect. The Chateau was charming and peaceful. The hosts had perfectly preserved the essence and beauty of the Chateau, it was like we had travelled back in time. While keeping the authenticity of the original place, the bathrooms had modern touches and were super clean. The beds were comfortable and the hosts were nice enough to provide a cot for our baby. The breakfast was also superb and the hosts were kind enough to arrange the breakfast outside per our request. Everything was perfect and magical. Don’t think twice before staying here.

Our hosts were welcoming, very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. They provided local information about the area. Our room was spacious and very well appointed with lovely linens and towels. We had a private entrance to our room and a sitting out patio area. Breakfast was exceptional and we ate outside in delightful surroundings. There was a secure area for our bicycles. The accommodation was close to La Velodyssee Cycle Route.

The studio was amazing, very thoughtfully designed and equipped with everything we needed and more. It is extremely comfortable and in a safe area which is quiet. The owner is very friendly and left us a delicious home made pudding. There's a TV with Netflix etc, tea&coffee.
