The location was really nice and central to Limoux. It is a short stroll to bakery, pharmacy and restaurants. The owner provided a fantastic guide book. The flat is lovingly updated with high quality features- eg electric roll down exterior shutters, and a walk in shower. The back terrace is an oasis of calm ☺️. There is no parking on site, but a free public car park is a two minute walk away and easy to find.

This is an excellent and beautiful chateau. The cleanliness was impeccable throughout the whole property. Everything was perfect from the word go. Our Host Quentin was the most kind and considerate person where nothing was too much to ask for or to do for us. Even before we arrived he was available to help us with recommendations for staying overnight on our drive from England to the Chateau. A truly lovely person who cared about you having a great holiday in a great property.

This property is a country oasis in the town. It would make the most romantic getaway for a couple. If you're planning a longer stay in Limoux, you couldn't really do much better than this cozy spot. Sipping the local sparkling wine while three pet hens hang out with you would be a dream! The hostess is friendly and helpful, although we were initially stumped at how to get in to the property. A washing machine was listed in the description on booking, but it didn't exist at the time of our stay. I'd be wary of the stairs up to the bedroom and bathroom, as they have a narrow, steep, and somewhat slippery tread, without a railing. We did not feel secure, especially on descent. If you have mobility issues, you should be aware of this. Otherwise, though, the whole experience was great. The upstairs layout was brilliant and comfortable, the shower was new with the neatest floor ever! Climate control couldn't be better, and decorative touches were lovely. Downstairs were a full living area and well equipped kitchen. I would not hesitate to recommend this property for your stay in Limoux.
