What a lovely relaxing oasis, Jean Marie could not have been a better host. We had a lovely room outside with it's own private area. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of croissant and pain au chocolat. Eggs provided by the chickens and home made jams. Lovely pool that we had to ourselves most of the time and comfy room with an espresso machine. The local town has obviously seen more prosperous days but we found a lovely pizza place run by a couple that was great. The local country side is beautiful and we took the bike through the villages up to Royan.

Wow! An amazing venue, with typical French decor and appointment. Our hosts Irene and Fredrik are simply the best. Their obvious skill in providing an exceptional experience really shines through, and the inclusive breakfast was chic and artfully presented. The food quality matched the display, and a nice roaring fire completed the tone. Just a great stop, with a two minute walk to the local village, and enough facilities there to satisfy our evening. A few km off the A10 route, it’s also a great location to satisfy an overnight break need after a long drive. Ours was from Madrid… Also private and safe parking-which we needed We plan to stop again in future-if we can get in! Well done to our new found friends

Very quiet, spacious, comfortable. Kitchen was well set up to cook. The WiFi worked well. Glyn was very helpful with advice on things to visit. Was very nice to have access to the garden and a patio to relax. Parking was off road.

Beautiful French restaurant with warm atmosphere. The grounds were tranquil and the “floating” cottage was a real treat. This hotel had an unassuming entrance that opened up into a real surprise. The staff were very welcoming and could not to to much to make us feel at home.
