I would rather call it an 'experience' than an accommodation. I'll start with the basics - the room was clean and spacious, very tastefully decorated. The bed was super comfortable, with quality linens. Beyond the basics - we were in luck that Peter and Edith decided last minutes to cook for their guests. So this is how we ended up with a delightful dinner and many interesting conversations with our hosts and other guests. Personally I really appreciated that hosts treat their guests more like 'friends', they dined and wined with us, told us how they sourced the best local ingredients from neighbours and their own garden. It really felt like we experienced the local life style through their stories. I'd recommend Zone Bleue to every traveller. And I even think it worth a detour if it's not on your way. Almost forgot to mention - value for money is through the roof.

Our host is reconstructing this gem of chateux with love and care and also arranged everything we needed (even a dinner on Sunday in a nearby restaurant). The interiors are done very nicely, rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean and suited for people with mobility issues. Nights are tranquil. Beware- Sundays and Mondays the majority of restaurants is closed in France. Also every day between 14.00- 19.00 it is hard to get meals in France.
