As the only guest at this time of year, I didn't want the whole restaurant opening, heating etc. just for me and so I chose to take meals in my room. I was grateful of it because it meant that I didn't have to drive out to find a place to eat. I wasn't disappointed... The breakfast was marvelous. Plenty of choice and filling enough to see me right through the day. The evening meal was lovely too (fish and chips) and any extras that I asked for were supplied without hesitation. The studio had everything that I needed, including a constant supply of hot water, heating and a big comfy bed. My little dog Jack was warmly welcomed and made a new friend in 'Buddy' the labrador. The views and surrounding areas are stunning and the peace and quite was a real treat for the soul.. The whole experience was nothing short of perfect. Highly recommended. Isobelle has a fabulous home in a very quiet village. She did cook for me that evening with mushrooms she had picked in the woods. Very friendly and wonderful stay sadly for only one night. If you want somewhere to stay that is comfortable, super clean, quiet with a friendly and charming host stay here.

We were on route from Spain to the UK and needed to find somewhere to sleep in the mountain area. This beautiful b&b is in the perfect location for our journey. Our hosts Robert and Ellen are the most welcoming people you could ever imagine in the universe, together with their beautiful friendly gentle pet dog Bear! They have such great taste to decorate their house - our room and bathroom are both spot on. We were actually pleasantly surprised about the room because it actually has the luxurious details that their online photos did not show. So our room actually exceeded our expectation! The bed is so comfortable! The room was pitch black when the lights are turned off, it's so quiet and peaceful in the mountain, we had slept like babies throughout the night without even having to close the curtains! Our lovely hosts prepared us such gorgeous breakfast in the morning, again, with some fantastic details to show that they really care about their service quality. We had a wonderful time in their sunny garden appreciating the paradise scene and super sweet fresh air. Plenty of space for parking, which is also important to us. There are a lot of natural activities for people to do such as hiking, mountain biking and skiing, etc.. If one needs to retreat from city life, this is your perfect place to hermit. We highly recommend Robert and Ellen and this b&b to any travelers.
