Mme Bertrand confirmed our booking by SMS, giving us the door code to get into the hotel and telling us our room number. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had hoped to get a meal when we arrived but the restaurant was really only open for breakfast and lunch so we drove the short distance to St Flour where there was a wide range of restaurants and takeaways and we had an excellent dinner. Breakfast the following morning was very good with plentiful food and excellent coffee. We will definitely come again.

The apartment was a good size and the heating was on when we arrived after dark on a cold, grey November evening - much appreciated! The kitchen area had everything we needed. Parking was convenient, right outside. Despite the flat being on the quite busy main road, we did not hear traffic noise inside. There is a little general store about 100 metres away on the same road and next to the hotel, which has a bar (but it was unfortunately not open the day we arrived). If you want bread, you need to order it from the store the day before. It is worth taking a little stroll around the village, which is on the edge of a small river.

Close to highway, ideal to stay overnight on long trip. Room is clean, service is good and quick. Big plus is that you can park the car right in front of the door of the room. Simple but good breakfast starting early in the morning (around 7AM). The room was in a good temperature.
