I came with a road bike, and I was able to quickly put my stuff in a storage area near the reception. (I took the tires off and put them in a bag. However, there was another person's bicycle, but it wasn't in a bag.) The receptionist and other staff at the hotel are very nice, and breakfast is also very nice. I had dinner at a nearby restaurant [la mandibule]. A cocktail called Mentoneze (local lemon sherbet and limoncello) It was the most delicious citrus dessert I've ever had in my life. I was very fortunate to be able to come to Mentone and stay at this hotel.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had breakfast. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. Very nice, newly renovated hotel in an excellent location. additionally I was welcomed with a very tasty breakfast, artisan products, menu with a touch of citrus, which is signature for Menton. Traveling is food experience too, so I’ve enjoyed having something else rather then I used to have in dozens of other hotels. Peillon is a medieval village perched on top of a hill,...

Peillon is a medieval village perched on top of a hill, literally at the end of a steep winding road. The village is delightful with great views down the valley so it doesn’t take long to explore it. There are some good walks but the paths are rough and steep so not easy walking, particularly in hot weather. The highlight for us was lunch at Le Plaisirs - a fabulous little restaurant in the village where the food was outstanding and great value. A short stay would be sufficient.

Remarkable village in beautiful scenery, it's a great surprise it's not swarmed with tourists like similar, yet closer to the coast Eze. It's very small and doesn't even have a shop, just one place to stay and two restaurants, but it's atmospheric and not easy to get to (both by car or on feet). If you seek calm beauty, this is a place for you.

Lovely traditional French village that gives you the feeling to be lost in middle of nowhere, out of the world. The village is very small, one afternoon/night there is enough, one day more if you want to hike around. Just the road to drive there is impressive and worth it !

It's a beautiful place because, unlike other medieval villages, it's not full of shops but maintains its original layout, which keeps it authentic. The food is fantastic. It's important to know that, like any mountain village, the road to get there is winding.

A hilltop village whose access is well worth the effort. The architecture remains largely untouched and exudes a unique atmosphere that changes with each alleyway in a maze leading up to the church. There, an open space offers a panoramic view of the mountains and the valley.

Superb location of the apartment in Peillon which is a cute hill top Village in Alpes Maritime. Thomas the owner of the apartment happens to be the Chef at the local Auberge de La Madone restaurant. It was a real treat to have amazing food and wine so close by. Also the large sun drenched terrace was relaxing to hang out on.

Excellent dinner experience, four-course menu for 64 euros per person, five-course menu 80 euros per person plus drinks, but it's worth the money. Spacious parking above the hotel. The hotel surroundings are excellent for photography.

Very nice hotel next to the breathtaking perched village of Peillon. The room was great, but the bed a bit short if you are tall. The staff was friendly and helpful. Delicious food.
