Breakfast and staff were amazing. Hotel is very clean and is definitely a good value for money. Location is perfect as you do not have alot of street noise in the evening but you can walk right into the city center whenever you want.

Very meager breakfast, no choice. Just coffee and a few croissants. This deserves to be pointed out; it's then up to the manager to take this feedback seriously and perhaps offer a decent breakfast, because this is truly appalling. I don't plan on returning.

I didn't see much of the village other than the hotel and...

I didn't see much of the village other than the hotel and the garden. The German architecture in (now) France is charming. Ostwald is a nice, quiet base if you (with a dog) don't want to stay in a busy city.

Clean and affordable, located in an industrial area. Primarily used by business travelers and tradespeople. Parking is available right outside. Wi-Fi works. A car is needed to reach the nearest park-and-ride facility with tram access. Inexpensive accommodation with breakfast near Strasbourg.

We only stayed one night and therefore didn't have the chance to visit Ostwald and the surrounding area. However, for lovers of good beer and wine, we recommend the "Vins et Bière" establishment located 50 meters from the Hotel F1. And for meat lovers, the "Hippopotamus" restaurant is 300 meters from the hotel.

The welcome and facilities are top-notch. You won't be disappointed by this high-standard establishment. However, there's no restaurant on weekends, so be sure to plan a meal nearby. It's ideally located for visiting the Christmas market, a 12-minute drive away. There's also a shopping center nearby.

Dirty establishment.

Dirty establishment. There was a cigarette smell in the room, the bed was broken, and the cleanliness under the beds was incredibly filthy. The €2.50 breakfast is not offered; they systematically provide the €5.90 one, which is not worth it.

The room was nice and clean. Despite the cold outside, the temperature in the room was comfortable. The hotel staff was polite and really helpful. The person at the reception gave us all information and advices on how to get to the city centre of Straßburg, since we travelled on the days when the Christmas markets were open. The hotel is just 13-minutes drive from Straßburg city centre.

Overall stay was pleasant, quiet and cosy room. Value for money, I am happy. Easy to access by car, we arrived at the hotel via Taxi from the central train station, Strasbourg. Tracking buses from the bus stop and then taking the tram to the city centre was a little tedious (Obviously this is not a problem of the hotel).
