Staying the Hotel de la Cathedrale was such an amazing experience that I can only wholeheartedly recommend. We were greeted with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival and then personally escorted to our magical room on the top floor under the wooden beams of the ancient roof with the most perfect view of the stunning 14th century Cathedral. We had requested a view of the Cathedral and a view we got. The breakfast buffet was nice and varied, the service impeccable, and the fruit display a veritable piece of art. There was a bit of noise from the street in the evening, but that's to be expected when one stays in the heart of a lively city. There's an impressive choice of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel and then of course all the amazing historical sites in and around Metz. I fell in love with Metz and will definitely stay at the Hotel de la Cathedrale next time :-)

The property has a perfect location both for the train station and visiting the town. My room was looking at the peaceful garden. Bed was comfortable. The hotel also have a nice outdoor area. Thomas and other suff are there to help you having an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

The hotel was great! Employees were very professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel is nearby train station and city center, but the rooms are quiet. It is easy to get anywhere in the city from this place. Also many shops, restaurants and cafes are nearby. The breakfast was nice, offering many types of foods. We chose Hotel Siatel, because of the many reviews that it was clean, we arrived and we found out that the reviews were true. The facilities are basic and a bit outdated, but you get what you pay for. It was worth the stop and gave us rest, especially with the kids with us. What is important is that it was clean for us to stay for the night...

The hotel is located with the Semecourt area north of Metz so is fairly easy to get to as a stop off on the way to our skiing trip to Bavaria. The bed was comfortable for me and the sheets where nice and clean.
