The chateau and its grounds are fantastic . We had booked a twin room but were given an upgrade to bigger room . The highlight of our visit were the two dinners we had at the chateau - on the terrace one night and once in the dining room - catered for by the owners and great vegetarian Italian food . Breakfast was very fresh with pastries / fruit and home made treats

The room was beautifully appointed, Sandra was lovely, even with the language barrier and she was always quick to reply to messages. The room is much bigger than you might think from the photos. The picture of the bed doesn't do it justice and doesn't make it clear that it's just next to a low internal wall and not in a claustrophobic cupboard-like space. It's a lovely space to relax and the A/C is a godsend in the height of summer.

Comfortable, clean, and very home-y! The kitchen and the fridge were great, as it allowed us to make our little dinner! The TV was great, and I was able to stream my fav show! Comfy beds and great water pressure! The owner was extremely nice and professional, and his instructions were simple and clear. The check-in/check-out procedure was excellent and seamless. I 100% recommend staying here! :) Plus there is an Aldi (supermarket) just 7 min (walking) away, and the train station just 5 min away as well 15 min walk to Chateau Amboise and all restaurants and bars 10/10!

I visited the Loire Valley and stayed in three different hotels, but this one stood out as truly exceptional. While all the places seemed to offer similar standards on the surface, here you can immediately feel the special touch of the wonderful owner, who clearly takes personal care to ensure every tiny detail is just right. Everything is maintained to the highest level — from the fresh, mint-scented steam room to the eucalyptus shower that feels like a true spa experience. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and welcoming, making you feel both pampered and at home. I won’t reveal all the surprises — you simply have to come and experience it for yourself. A heartfelt thank you to the delightful owner for creating such a magical place. Highly recommended!

We highly recommend this B & B!!

We highly recommend this B & B!! Our room was spacious, the king size bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large and well equipped with everything we could need. The morning breakfasts were delicious as well. The grounds were beautiful, peaceful and very relaxing. The chateau and the surrounding property was very unique . Veronique was a very gracious host!!

The Chateau is a lovely oasis outside of Amboise. Veronique and her staff made our stay even better with their cheerful helpfulness in reserving restaurants and answering questions. We stayed in the little annex, which sits in the courtyard. I was a little worried about noise since it is close to the parking area, but it was nice and quiet at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Staying at the chateau was an overall amazing experience. The owners are such exceptional hosts with so much attention to every detail - both on a personal level (with lots of good talks and great recommendations for the area) and in terms of the thoughtful design of the whole place (felt like staying in an architecture magazine). Breakfast was simply incredible.

So special. We planned to go to Chenonceau the next day, so I was amazed to find out that this chateau was built by the same couple who built Chenonceau. We stayed in the private suite at the top of a small hill. Should have packed lighter because there were some stairs. It was definitely worth it. Luxury cave experience with great facilities.

The property was nestled in a beautiful area and was perfect for our plans to visit chateaux and relax. We loved taking a bottle of wine with a baguette and cheese into one of the lovely gardens, sometimes by ourselves and other times joined by others who were staying there. The whole stay was wonderful!

We had a great stay. Veronica was really nice and very helpful, happy to share lists of recommended restaurants etc. The hotel itself was idyllic, perhaps one of the most picturesque settings we’ve stayed. Local walks through vineyards, a great bakery nearby. Really couldn’t ask for more.
