The staff at the hotel are happy and very helpful. The evening receptionist (perhaps owner?) recommended a local restaurant to us and made the reservation for us and the restaurant was excellent. It was Chez Germaine at Geronce. We had a very enjoyable stay at Le Commerce and our little dog was welcomed too and a water-bowl provided for her.

Quiet, comfortable, spotless and a great stay. The room is amazing. Spacious bathroom. Huge shared (I think as we the only ones there) Kitchen and massive lounge area. Big comfy bed. Has everything you need and more. Great breakfast. Out of town but short walk into town and restaurants. Was quiet as in the country.

Everything is fantastic, the lodges in the site are perfect, clean and comfortable with dishwashers, microwave, coffee machines, toasters etc. They are only a year old and give the impression you are the first to have stayed in them. This is a compact site not big and spread out so the provision of on site pizza oven for period June onwards and they even have facilities with tables and chairs inside a wedding type marquee. The location is so close to the French historical community of Navarrenx walking to bars, restaurants, supermarkets is easy and only a few minutes.

A town I've known for a long time and appreciate more each time, with its almost perfectly preserved fortified walls, a very diverse surrounding environment, and charming people, as is the case throughout this region. An essential and relaxing stop.

A great base for exploring the surrounding area, including...

A great base for exploring the surrounding area, including hiking, the Artouste train, and zip-lining. There's a supermarket nearby and a bakery 5 minutes from the campsite. The town is a 5-10 minute walk away. The street food in August is fantastic! The ramparts of Navarrenx add to the charm of the Tuesday evening concerts! Rafting is available 30 minutes from Navarrenx.

The poisson roy exceeded our expectations in every way. The host was charming and accommodating and the pictures do not do justice to how lovely the interior is, in particular the first floor area that is open to the outside. The owners have taken great care to make sure that the place is well appointed and I have the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. It is extremely well situated within Navarrenx as well.

Le Commerce is a very nice hotel in the walled historical center of Navarrenx. The location of the hotel is quite cetral anh peaceful. Breakfast was sufficient even for pilgrims.
