Wonderful hosts who made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. The location is in a small village not far from Dieppe, only 20 minutes to the ferry terminal for the ferry to Newhaven, but feels so peaceful and remote. The surrounding gardens and fields are lovely and on opening the bedroom window in the morning we were greeted by a scene of grazing cows and idyllic scenery. The bedroom had everything we needed, a comfy bed and nice bathroom as well as kettle to make our hot drink if we wanted. Everything was spotlessly clean. We opted to have dinner on both nights of our stay, cooked and served by our hosts Jean-Louis and Veronique and we certainly didn't regret it! Fabulous food, cooked with love and of superb quality. If not home grown then locally sourced. Truly delicious. We could also order wine with our meal at a reasonable cost. Two small excitable dogs that we enjoyed having around and they were no bother at all. Thank you for making our final few days of holiday so special!!!!!

The hostess Claire-Anne was great and made us a cuppa on arrival which was well received. The breakfast too was excellent. The shared bathroom (which we didn't have to share) was great. There is a fabulous restaurant just down the road called 'Le Henri Cat' but only go there if you love cats. It's a creperie with an experience. If you're going through Dieppe, this is the place to stay - it's just 9km from the ferry terminal, very quiet and on the edge of an interesting village.

The house is very modern, clean and comfortable and very nicely styled. I didn’t cook meals in the kitchen but it had everything we needed, coffee machine, dishwasher etc. The heating works well, shower was excellent and the beds were very comfortable. The position is nice and quiet. There is a friendly donkey and a small goat in the field behind the house which was very sweet. The host lives nearby so was easy to reach if we needed anything, she was very friendly and helpful and all instructions inside the house are in English and in French. We very much enjoyed our stay and we will visit again!
