Can I recommend two members of staff. Firstly Nicholas who spent time trying to contact me after I left my wallet at the reception desk. Contact was made and I returned to the Campanile to pick it up. Secondly the young lady who cooked us fish snd chips when arrived late and the kitchen was closed. They are both a credit to the organisation.

Les Rives de l'Andelle lies on the edge of small town of Romilly-sur-Andelle. This was our starting point of our trip to Normandie, France. Breakfast was great and we got a lot of great advice from our hosts. The house is very calm on the bank of a small stream. We had a nice dinner at L’évidence. Reservation is a must. City of Rouen is reachable by a 20-minutes train ride from Val-de-Reuil train station. A free park is available at the station. Omaha beach a 2-hour ride by car.

Beautiful and very clean property, lovely hosts. If you're looking for a place to disconnect from a fast-paced life and reconnect with nature, history and culture, this is it. The breakfast is simple but charming and as everything else in this chateau, made with love. Although the spot is isolated, if you have a car, you're still only a few minutes drive away from grocery shops, restaurants and even multiple gas stations, as well as some beautiful spots to visit.
