We chose the hotel so that we could visit the area as part of a wider trip in Northern France. It was lovely to arrive and receive a warm welcome, easy check in and very pleasant room with good adjustable air-con, super shower and great comfortable bed. Breakfast offered everything you could want and the lounge area had tea and coffee facilities - the weather was really wet but we were able to read our novels and have a cuppa looking out through the modern glazed area. First class.

Mers-Les-Bains is a traditional unspoiled French resort. The people are friendly and welcoming, but do not expect English to be spoken in the smaller of the restaurants and cafes.. but this wont stop you having a wonderful meal ... There are a number of good restaurants and cafes, Mussels are great! It is not too far from Calais, but a world apart in terms of pace of life and enjoyment that comes with it The beach is shingle at the top part, but sand when the tide goes out, and great for kids and families. You can buy shrimp nets for play in the pools that are left as the tide goes out. I had a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend there with my partner and will definitely visit again soon.

A truly impressive place on the Normandy coast, with interesting houses and a fantastic promenade. After Etretat last year, we've discovered another gem in Normandy that we'll definitely recommend to our friends.

A charming town with a boulevard lined with colorful houses. It's also a great place for a stroll along the chalk cliffs. It's within walking distance of Le Tréport, where you can take a free, old cable car up the cliffs.

We enjoyed the seaside, the very well-marked coastal path, and the magnificent villa facades. We ate at a lovely restaurant with a terrace overlooking the beach under a beautiful late September sun. There is free parking near the town center.

We've known Mers-les-Bains for 30 years.

We've known Mers-les-Bains for 30 years. We've stayed at Goelia regularly. I appreciate its location between two cliffs, its cultural activities, exhibitions, and events. We went to the light show on August 22nd. We also regularly go to Les Mouettes.

A very pretty little seaside town.

A very pretty little seaside town. No sand, but pebbles, which didn't detract from the lovely impression we had of the town. The villas are magnificent, and it's definitely worth a visit to see them along the seafront or in the adjacent streets. There aren't many restaurants, and it can sometimes be difficult to find a table in the evening without a reservation.

Refurbished modern hotel. Nice hotel with a bar and snacks and light meals available. Fantastic breakfast. Decent room for a budget Ibis with good aircon. Really nice friendly staff. I will definitely use this hotel again.
