Great location, within a 5 minutes walk from a tram station that leave you at the airport in 10 minutes. There are supermarkets and restaurants in a walking distance, even some fast-food joints if you arrive late at night. But even better than the location is the service, the comfy bed and AC makes for a great sleep, it’s been a while since I had such a good night. The complementary water bottles were just what I needed after a long flight. The room even has its own boiler so you can have one of the instant coffees they give you in each room. A fantastic experience, sadly it was only for one night but if I ever get back to Bordeaux I make sure to book the same room. Thank you for all your service.

Better than we expected. We had been to other Campanille hotels but none like this one. The rooms are very spacious and the common areas and hallways are very bright and spacious. The staff was very friendly and made an effort to speak Spanish.

For my situation, I needed car park and pets allowed, I wanted to go to the ocean which I did one day and it was amazing - I was too hot and tired to go another day due to no AC in room, outside temp 34 degrees. The area was nice, but I prefer countryside , for my requirements and budget there were no hotels in the countryside for the dates I needed - it all depends on peoples' individual circumstances, for some it is just one night stop over for the airport , I had several requirements , and would have liked another day at the sea. The immediate grounds of the hotel were nice with trees and grass area I could take my dog there first thing in morning and at night.

The BandB was centrally situated from the Chateaux area of Medoc. Only an hour's drive to the picturesque areas of Arcachon, cap Ferret and Dune du Pilat and just 12 minutes to downtown Bordeaux. We drove to areas an hour or more away and used Uber to and from downtown Bordeaux. We really enjoyed the wonderful Italian food from Palatino. We enjoyed a tour to the quaint town of Saint Emelion as well as Chateaux Tour Baldoz. Using the very informative Tourist Office we took an informative boat tour on the Garonne river as well as a mini train ride around the city. The Cite du Vin was so informative.

I stayed over in Mérignac because of early flight out.

I stayed over in Mérignac because of early flight out. I wish I could stay longer. Definitely should explore the area. The people are super friendly and helpful. Surprisingly clean around the airport area and smoke addicts don't enjoy more comforts than non-smokers. I felt an effort is made that non-smokers are not exposed to second hand smoking as it usually is the case. Thank you

A superb modern hotel finished to the highest standard, the staff were all very helpful and kind. The beds and pillows are so comfy and we plan to return as we enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect location for the airport and they offer a free shuttle service but it stops at 15:00 but also ideal for exploring Bordeaux as you can get the tram from right outside the arrivals lounge of the airport. Drinks and food both very expensive, chef has delusions of grandeur, his menu and the way it was written put us of eating there, all foams and weird concoctions!

Take time to explore the out of the way neighbourhoods in Bordeaux. There is lots to see. Say Bonjour and Merci to everyone. They do. LRT service is excellent. Go to Meriadeck Mall for groceries and Galeries Lafayette on Rue Saint Catherine. Rue Saint Catherine is a pedestrian walkway on the A line LRT. Go down to the riverfront. Drink the wine. Make an effort to speak French. Merignac is a suburb of Bordeaux. My comments apply to Bordeaux.

The hotel and room were clean. It is on the tram line, it was only a couple of stops down from the airport or 30mins to centre of Bordeaux. The room was big and spacious and no road noise. The breakfast was good with lots of options. There are a couple of restaurants near by. We didn’t use the pool as it was raining but looked ok. There was good communication from the hotel prior to arrival.

Lots of lovely seating areas inside and outside. The architecture is great but the grounds look really scruffy - they need a decent gardener. The tram into central Bordeaux takes about 40 minutes. Staff told us to walk to the tram stop at the airport terminal, really added to journey time, but there is another stop just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

We liked the locality of the hotel to the airport, our main purpose of staying was due to a late arrival time into Bordeaux Airport from London. We were checked in with no fuss and the staff member on the desk was extremely quick, kind and knowledgeable during the check in process.
