The spa was a dream, providing the perfect escape for relaxation and rejuvenation after a day spent exploring the surrounding natural beauty. Speaking of nature, the location is unbeatable. Nestled in a serene, peaceful area, you're completely immersed in nature. Whether you’re hiking, relaxing by the water, or simply enjoying the view, there’s a tranquility here that’s hard to find elsewhere. We have stayed at Clos Marie for 2 days (1 night) That was our "Escape the City" weekend to connect and Recharge the Soul - cleanliness: impressive (5/5) - bedding: five-star-sleep (5/5) - interior equipment: modern, design - breakfast: everything what you need and more - host: kind and benign - activities: swimming and cycling (path 40 km - the host can arrange it upon request) and of course GARDEN and SWIMMING POOL We will definitely get back there with our kids as there is everything what you need to spent quality time with your family !

Location very remote , but brilliantly situated, heart of the country side, animals were an added bonus. Breakfast very nice, homemade jams croissants and French bead.Booked a lunch time meal and took the friend we were visiting, exceeded all ideas , lovely, home, fresh cooked . Excellent. Feeding the donkeys daily was a good experience and hosts were so lovely, friendly, helpful. Have already recommended it to a friend who will be travelling later this year . Comfortable and warm room, good shower and teas and coffees provided

Ray and Marguerite were excellent welcoming hosts. The Chateau was decorated beautifully and our room was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent. Walking distance two restaurants and bars. Hope we can visit again one day and spend more time.

During a cycling trip of 18 stops across France, this was the most exceptional and warming stop. As a result of my experience, I am writing this review. Arriving wet and battered by the rain and wind, this warm friendly welcome was fantastic. The host was very knowledgeable of the local area, everything from local history, right through to the pace to get good food and great food. The layout of the building was warm and welcoming with all needed facilities to a high standard. I would go as far as to say this stop was exceptional. The breakfast was to a high standard and provided me with the energy needed to continue my cycling adventure. great place to stop ;-)
