Viviane was an excellent host. The place was spotlessly clean and everything provided for an excellent stay It was lovely sharing time at breakfast (which was excellent), with another couple. We would definitely return.

Everything was excellent. The best place we have ever stayed for an overnight stay. The owners were very welcoming and absolutely everything was provided. Breakfast was excellent and delivered to our lovely room, croissants, rolls, coffee, cereals, fruit juice etc. The rural location was lovely with a donkey outside and otters by the stream. It was a cold night and but the central heating worked perfectly. Thank you Gisele et Jean Louis

A absolutely stunning location. Didier and Dominique were wonderful hosts and suffered my atrocious french with smiles and good grace. The garden is beautiful and magical, worth visiting just to see that. A lovely breakfast with home made jam and cake as the highlight.

The property owners were in excellent communication prior to out arrival. We were given a warm welcome and immediately made to feel at home. The refrigerator was well stocked with products for breakfast, including croissants, yogurt, and fresh eggs from our host's chickens. The pool is a major feature and after a day's work it was a fabulous way to relax, especially since the weather was hot. All in all this was a terrific experience and we all agreed that we would love a return visit. Thoroughly recommended. I would say exceptional.

This lovely gite in the Charente countryside is a perfect...

This lovely gite in the Charente countryside is a perfect place to stay for both families and nature lovers. The house itself is spacious and tastefully furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. The outdoor space is amazing and nature lovers will love exploring along the river and extensive grounds. The hosts live on site and are so friendly and willing to share their local knowledge but are not at all intrusive. We loved our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends.
