This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are so friendly and attentive yet without being obtrusive and one staff member Michel remembered us from years ago and greeted us like old friends which was lovely. It is a very beautiful hotel and the attention to detail is second to none. The cuisine is outstanding and they have an excellent and extensive wine list. Rose petals are left on your pillows at night by the evening service and there are always little treats in store. The concierge is most helpful and can provide any information or service you require, for example airport transfers, chauffeured driven tours with wine tastings and picnics. There is a spa and swimming pool and beautiful grounds.

It is much more than a hotel — it feels like being invited to a refined friend’s home in the heart of Aix. Emma, the hostess, is cultured, elegant, and effortlessly multilingual, making everything feel natural and special. The house itself is a gem — full of history, contemporary design, and intimate charm. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and stylish, and the private spa is a true luxury. A wonderful surprise and one of the most special places we’ve ever stayed in Provence.
