Le Bois Gautier is a great place handled by very friendly and supportive people. The accommodation is nice, clean, and cozy - a farm house appearence with all the modern amenities. Our kids enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool (heated!) while we could relax in a peaceful countryside atmosphere. The farm is located close to a couple of small towns (shops, restaurants etc.) and, from our point of view, it was a convenient base for shorter and longer car trips. Bill and Karen are there to help you with any topics and to provide you with smart local hints.

Jocelyn and Valerie are wonderful hosts. They showed such concern for us, ensuring we knew where everything was, how everything worked and that we were very comfortable. They arranged dinner for us at a very good and unusual local restaurant where the food was of the highest quality. Breakfast was a real treat, in addition to fresh bread and fruit Valerie had prepared excellent brioche and delicious jams from their own garden produce. Our room, la Ker Jeanne, was large, warm and light. It was well furnished with comfortable seating and a very good bed. Our bathroom, en suite, was spacious with a large walk in shower. Jocelyn and Valerie have made a great effort to restore this large house to a high standard and the result is a beautiful home lived in by very nice people. We found our stay warm, welcoming and very relaxing. We very much hope to return soon.

Everything was beyond our expectations! Corinne and Philippe are excellent hosts, so kind, so friendly, so helpful in any situation - we have felt really welcomed! We had Celtique room and for us and our 2 pets was a great room. The room was impeccably clean and we had daily cleaning of it, which was amazing. You can tell the hosts have a good eye for decor and making the space homey. The breakfast was the best we've had so far in France! Corinne prepares everything herself in her kitchen and you even have the option for salty breakfast - she made us incredible scrambled eggs in butter <3 The space itself is very big and the garden is impressive! There is plenty of space to park the car and the surroundings are very quiet. If you have the possibility have lunch or dinner at Auberge Les Filles en Bottes - it is a very new place very close to the accommodation but they have limited seats so make a reservation beforehand. Corinne also recommended this place to us and she even helped us with making the reservation. We will definitely return here! People make the place and while you can find many B&Bs in France, the hospitality we've experienced here is something we will return for.
