We had such a fantastic stay at Chateau La Thiliere. The chateau was absolutely beautiful, and felt very exclusive whilst Stefan and Leyla were incredibly friendly. They were so knowledgeable about the area, and couldn’t have made us feel more at home in their beautiful chateau. Breakfast was delicious and the home cooked evening meals were of amazingly high standard.

We absolutely loved the owners, they are really nice and took good care of us. The house is really charming and clean, really impressive for an old house in the country side ! the dog Milou is really sweet too, we came with our little dog (they said it was the smallest they had at the moment, he is 8kg if you want to challenge the title) and everything was fine between them. The breakfast is what most families in France have for Sunday breakfasts, give it a try if you are curious.

We enjoyed staying with Phillipe and seeing this great project he is undertaking in restoring a beautiful old building. I loved the splendid large balcony on which we had breakfast with its views over the misty landscape. Quite a change from impersonal apartments. Very down to earth and refreshing.

This was a treat for us as a one-night stay during our 3 weeks in France. The family room was awesome - our 15 yr old son had the round turret room - such a cool place to stop! Our bed was the biggest bed I have ever seen and soooo comfortable. It was all the old-world luxury we hoped for. Really friendly couple running the place. Beautiful old chateau. Pre-dinner drinks, nibbles, the evening meal we had booked in their dining room - was absolutely outstanding - 5*****. The included breakfast was delicious too - it was a very memorable stay.

We had such a fantastic stay at Chateau La Thiliere. The chateau was absolutely beautiful, and felt very exclusive whilst Stefan and Leyla were incredibly friendly. They were so knowledgeable about the area, and couldn’t have made us feel more at home in their beautiful chateau.
