Absolutely exceptional place, absolutely exceptional stay! Beautifully furnished quiet house with a wonderful garden, heated pool, outdoor seating. Mariel is a beautiful elegant lady who takes great care of her guests, preparing excellent breakfasts from local and home-grown ingredients. We really enjoyed our stay in her house! Way outing the country, this custom-built add-on to a farm is exquisite. Spacious, cleverly designed and elegant. The super-king bed is super-comfortable. We were there in deep winter, but the room was very cosy. Excellent walk-in shower. Madame takes very good care of guests, and serves an outstanding breakfast, with home-made yoghurt and jams. 15 minutes from beautiful Chinon where we enjoyed a top class dinner (au Cafe Chaud).
