The accomodation is in the middle of French fields and countryside. It is calm and quiet. We enjoyed it to the very last bit. We were looking for a small chateau that would offer a familiar vibe. This was perfect. We had breakfast together with other guests, croissant and baguette. Your options are not infinite, but they are all good and tasty! We also wanted to try their dinner so we booked for the second night, it was great and also very good value for French standards. We also had a selection of cheese later but I couldn't eat anymore, so our host was nice and brought them out for me for breakfast!!! I love animals so I particularly enjoyed that there were dogs, cats and horses around, many of them sooo friendly. The bed was comfortable, the room offered enough space and it was all clean. Some people here comment on the fact that it is a negative experience how familiar is this place... but if you don't like it and need more privacy you should go elsewhere. I assume those who come here are aware that they are guests at someone's home, so take it for what it really is, and for that it was the best!

Very peaceful stay in Normandy. Great location for a pit stop on our way to Brittany. The hosts were very kind and welcoming and provided a lovely breakfast. The gardens were beautiful with chickens and sheep nearby. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, private place to stay in a really tranquil setting. The orangerie had everything you need (and more) for a multiday stay, including cooking facilities. The hostess was really friendly, allowing us to practise our French but was also able to clearly communicate in English if needed. This place is a hidden gem and I would recommend without hesitation to any friends and family.

The host are very attentive. We arrived late and cold and we asked for a hot drink. she made us a very nice hot chocolate and gave us some cookies. The breakfast was homemade and excellent, we had eggs from the hens she keeps. If you don’t mind sharing house with the host, and the shower room is upstairs and some nice cats and a dog around then this place is very nice to stay the night. The nearest shops and restaurants are about 6-8 minutes driving.
