If you love mixing with the other families over breakfast and practising your French then its a very relaxed and fun morning. The hosts are also very helpful and assist in finding things to do, places to visit and any local information or events. The accommodation was lovely. Thomas is a great host, starting from the info before, to help us plan the trip around with good advices. His location is excellent for a star trip, 1 h from mont san mishel, 1.5 from etretat. we took 4 rooms, and all were excellent, also the breakfast.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at L'Anctovilliere, a beautiful landhouse that exceeded my expectations in every way. The two-room apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished, with a cozy bedroom featuring a shower. The pool was a lovely bonus, open to guests from 5-8 pm, although I must note that its depth of 2.20m might not be suitable for very young children. However, for families with older kids or adults, the pool was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding area. Speaking of which, there are plenty of interesting places to visit within a 100km radius of Anctoville. Some highlights include: - The historic city of Rouen, with its stunning cathedral and medieval architecture ( approx. 70km) - The picturesque village of Honfleur, with its charming harbor and artistic heritage (approx. 90km) - The beautiful Normandy coast, with its stunning beaches and scenic views (approx. 80-100km) The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere of the landhouse was peaceful and relaxing. I would highly recommend L'Anctovilliere to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the Normandy region. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at L'Anctovilliere and would definitely return in the future. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!

Eric and Nathalie have a gift for hospitality that goes far beyond accommodation; they have created a place where you can feel both cared for and free to simply be. We came as guests and leave as friends, friends I know we’ll look forward to keeping in touch with.
