Highly recommend if you are looking for a bit of luxury and comfort :) Luxurious and spacious apartment with high ceilings, top-notch finish and decorations. All brand new and super clean. Nuxe cosmetics in the bathroom, fully fitted kitchen. Microwave and the oven, coffee machine. Everything even better than in the pictures. Extremely polite and friendly hosts ( Nous vous saluons:)). You have a set of towels in the price and you can have them changed if requested. Thr place is a bit far away from the main beaches but the town Gujan-Mestras is brilliantly connected with the beaches by train or a bike. Plenty of bike roads around and you can get a free map in the tourist office. . Im general, the place is worth its money an much more than that ☺️☀️

Truly exceptional apartment, and hospitality by the host. Wonderful breakfast delivered to the door. This is not a midtown location, but close to the unique and huge ornithological reserve of the Leyre delta, and to the little ports of the Bassin with their oyster and fresh fish offerings. The harbour for oyster lovers.

The harbour for oyster lovers. Some restaurants do offer non marine based food. But we found a place called L'Hopa which was very good and another in la hume called Bistro 50 .(short train ride and short walk)

It has a natural nature vibe which is surprising as as the area is extensively developed. Most irritating thing is that shops and quite a few restaurants, Pizzerias close quite early which is irritating but I suppose makes it an authentic French experience.

Gujan-Mestras is not a particularly lively or beautiful...

Gujan-Mestras is not a particularly lively or beautiful village, Arcachon is much nicer, but it has its really nice parts: the costal area with great, very authentic oyster restaurants and oyster farms; the ornithological reservation; beautiful walk along the coast to an interresting area plage de la Hume etc...

From arrival to departure, everything was perfect. The lovely gentleman on the desk was very polite and welcoming and it was an absolute pleasure to arrive to after a long journey. The hotel was spotless, the rooms were clean and tidy, well-stocked and welcoming, and it was nice and quiet - just what was needed. Beds were very comfortable as well! I would stay here again for sure!

Very nice house with a outdoor pool in Gujan-Mestras. Free parking places for cars. Good location to explore Arcachon Bay area with car. The owner was also very friendly for us. We had a great week in this place!
