Interesting town and a good place to stop and explore particularly if travelling onwards. We were given good recommendations for places to eat by our hosts and enjoyed our stay. Town easy to get round and has a market Saturdays. Not too far from major roads if would like a break.

The place is A fantastic rural hotel! The staff was wonderful, always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options. We also loved that there was a continuous supply of coffee and tea available, and the option to order other drinks was a nice touch. The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, and the rooms were beautifully designed and modern. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We had a truly wonderful time and highly recommend this place.

Excellent accommodation in Fresnay-sur-Sarthe. The owner is a friendly helpful lady. We booked 3 rooms which were all sparkling clean and very comfortable. The breakfast served was very good. The town is charming and lovely to visit. Staying at Le Clos de Paris is highly recommended and we will definitely book here again!
