We recently had the pleasure of staying at “Le Clos de la Rousselière”, a guest house at only a few minutes’ drive from “Le Chateau de Chenonceaux” in France, and I cannot praise it enough. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by Sylvie and Patrick. Although our time there was short (only one night), every aspect of our visit left a lasting impression. First, the cleanliness of the place was impeccable. The attention to details was evident in every corner, making us feel instantly at ease and comfortable. The modern bedrooms and bathroom were tastefully decorated, with a touch of elegance that added to the overall charm of the place. It was good to see a property that seamlessly combined style with functionality. This place is really a haven of tranquillity, with a garden and a heated swimming pool. Ideal to relax after a busy day visiting the area. Unfortunately, we couldn’t made the most of it as we stayed only for one night. I want to emphasize the excellent breakfast as well. The owners took pride in showcasing their local products (freshly baked pastries and jams), and every bite was a delightful blend of flavours. A great start for the day! Speaking of the owners, their warmth and genuine care for their guests were truly remarkable. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. They shared their extensive knowledge of the area and recommended a very good restaurant nearby (le Moulin Fort). Their personalized attention made us feel like valued guests, I would even say like family, rather than mere visitors. The guest house had such a wonderful atmosphere, and we wish we stayed there a bit longer. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, the exceptional service, and the warm environment made it a truly memorable experience. In a nutshell, I highly Le Clos de la Rousselière to anyone seeking a remarkable getaway. Whether for a short stay or a longer retreat, this guest house will certainly exceed your expectat

Everything! This was the best acommodation we had during our 2 weeks trip via France. Stunning and absolutely comfortable little house, which is btw no so little at all. Furnished with taste and creativity. The host very responsive and helpful. Feel like home. It was 34'C outside when we arrived at 4pm, we just came in, felt the pleasant chill of the walls and floor and didn't want to go out anymore. ;)

Patrick and Sylvie were very welcoming and nothing was ever a problem. Our 16 month daughter could wander around the grounds with guests and the owners dog who was very friendly. Accommodation was modern and very clean with a fully stocked kitchen. Would recommend to others for a stay in the area.

The restaurant was phenomenal. We asked for a special table and they were able to accommodate us. The food was delicious. We got a great recommendation for the vine. We got a little gift at check-out - a bottle of vine. It was so thoughtful. Thank you so much. The rooms were cleaned daily. The hotel have a beautiful garden with friendly animals. Pool is also a big plus. We absolutely loved our stay. Merci.

The region is magnificent, the house is comfortable (we rented a two-bedroom suite), and our hosts were very welcoming. Good beds, air conditioning in the bedrooms... We enjoyed the heated pool, breakfast in the garden, and the owners' very helpful advice. We highly recommend it!

We stayed at this wonderful hotel and had an unforgettable experience. It was truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had — we felt like we were living in a castle! The place is straight out of a fairytale, with beautiful gardens and a lovely pool. During breakfast, we saw a baby deer through the window, peacefully walking in the forest — a magical moment. The breakfast itself was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. We will definitely come back. Many thanks to the owners and congratulations on creating such an amazing place!

Jane, Kristoff and Camilla were most welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The property and grounds are beautiful, set in the hamlet of Francueil. We spent five wonderfully relaxing days at Le Moulin De Francueil, with its lovely swimming pool and all round homely atmosphere, surrounded by antique furniture. There is ample parking, outside the front door. Montrichard is the nearest town, with shops and plenty of restaurants.Blére, with two supermarkets, is a couple of km away.
