Excellent location, just outside a quiet village. Very peaceful setting with magnificent views from the garden. The house has been completely renovated to a high standard. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners who live in a farmhouse a couple of hundred metres away were very friendly and helpful.

We loved everything! We chose the Zen room which was wonderfully large with all the furnishings you might need. There was a desk, a bench, loads of pillows and cushions. and I loved the low armchairs, the perfect height for bending over to tie your shoes. The huge, round bathroom was really special, I loved the idea of it being in the tower. There was so much care and thought to the comfort of guests, every little thing was available. The grounds are so peaceful, it’s a real escape. But still close enough to everywhere for taking in the sights. The best of all was Laurie, the manager. She was always available, made us feel superbly pampered, she worked so hard to ensure we didn’t want for anything. The email she sent me on arrival was invaluable with information and tips on the area - what to see, where to eat, and so on. We loved the Dordogne and if we come back, we’d love to stay here again!

Remote former farm surrounded by nature and cows. Quiet and relaxing far from hustle. Amazing wood structure with monumental wood stair. We had diner booked so Olivier ( owner) cooked local dishes and with a local red wine. All was succulent. Free breakfast was nice too. We got upgrade with a bigger room as we booked diner.
