Amazing location in beautiful town. Easy free parking, comfortable apartment with beautiful light and views; comfy bed, big Netflix tv and very functional kitchen. Quiet except for church bells! Responsive and friendly host. Easy check in/out.

Staying in an amazing bit of history if only the walls could talk !! Super comfy bed and amazing views sitting on our thrones looking out to the town and countryside beyond. Certainly the hostess with the most charming of welcomes. The breakfast was amazing alot homemade, very delicious All very nice and a treat.

I was unfortunately ill during the whol time of our stay, so the only facilities in town that I can recommend for easy access and use are: the pharmacy, the florist and the cashpoint. Parking was free in the centre of town, but I don't know for how long etc.

Old historical medieval town which is lovely to walk through...

Old historical medieval town which is lovely to walk through. It is a bit hilly and there are cobbled streets. The view from the top is amazing across the local countryside. Local churches and museums to visit and (if lucky) mediaeval fetes as well. Friendly bars and restaurants.

A charming and historic city with a significant history...

A charming and historic city with a significant history dating back to June 1944. It was a key junction during the Allied advance. It's also a beautiful area with quiet towns along the (small) D roads.

Domfront is a charming town with its old houses, its striking church, and the ruins of its feudal castle and towers. Unfortunately, many shops in the medieval town are closed, giving it a rather sad appearance.

Charming small town with a castle.

Charming small town with a castle. Very welcoming and competent tourist office. Restaurants with good value for money. Close to other sites such as Bagnoles de l'Orne, Lassay les 3 châteaux, Saint-Ceneri, Sainte-Suzanne, Carrouges.

We had a 4 night stay in a cottage on this beautiful site to break our journey to Caen. It really was a home from home, well equipped, comfortable & in a tranquil setting with lovely grounds, which you're free to wander. It's well placed for Domfront & Bagnoles sur L'Orne, too. Victoria & Richard are wonderful hosts, helpful & informative. We had an excellent home cooked meal on our last night. Very good value for money. Thanks .

The whole place is a masterful example of skillful and beautiful design and application. The welcome from Blandine was wonderful. the whole room was very comfortable and was one of the best nights sleep i have had in years. If you are near or passing through Domfront, then stay here if only for a night or two. you will not regret it.

Excellent location for us. Easy walk into town and on sight parking. Our car fitted into the garage well. We are renovating our property near Domfront so this was a perfect place to come back to and relax in. Very clean and create facilities.
