Spacious, the kitchen has everything, the location is in the center, near shops and a bakery. We arrived late, it was easy to pick up the key in the locker. Parking in front of the door, but be careful - there are big stones in the grass.

We came here 25 years ago, the hotel is soooo cute in an old style farm! The hotel is now even better with new owners, a modern look and so confortable! We had a room with an outside space and table, perfect for aperitif! One of the new feature we loved was the free filtered sparkling and normal water fountain and the little salon where there is a kitchenette with a microwave and all you need to have a dinner, as well as a coffee maker! Staff were so nice, it is also only a few minutes away from Chambord. There is a great safe bike garage where we could leave our bikes. Finally, right next to a supermarket, a bakery, and in a cute little village!

Charming vegetable garden on the grounds, from which come many of the foods they serve in the restaurant. The pool is a gem. And the family that runs the hotel couldn't be nicer. A wonderful place to stay if you're visiting the Château de Chambord.

My partner and I have been travelling the Loire valley for quite a while now and our starting at Chateau de la Giraudière was probably one of the best experiences we ever had.
