I liked the location, room was big and nicely decorated, breakfast was exceptional, always fresh and with large selection of food for every taste. Separately I must admit that reception staff are real professionals: very friendly, always smiling and ready to help. Same compliment goes to young lad at ski storage room.

Great breakfast with amazing quality. The hotel has direct access to the ski slopes and is less than 100m from a central lift. The hotel personnel was quite friendly and always willing to assist and support in whatever was needed, from suggesting to booking restaurants, providing transport and always checking on us.

We really liked the location of the hotel, with direct access from the lobby to the city center. The hotel lobby was spacious and vibrant, creating a great first impression. The staff at the ski room and concierge were extremely friendly and accommodating, as were the drivers who took us around the city. Their professionalism and helpfulness added to the overall experience, making our stay even more enjoyable

i would not stay in this hotel as they are fake and not...

i would not stay in this hotel as they are fake and not helpful. they keep on saying we are sorry and than they dont do anything about it. and becareful when you use their concierge service, they charge you %5 for every charge and the ski instructors they find charge you whatever they feel like even though you stay with them for 3 hours, dont invite them to lunch as we did, he charged us for his time and the hotel didnt do anything about it.

A brilliant ski area with lots of options and levels of runs and easy to ski throughout. Good bus service to access other areas if you don't want to ski and/or for the evenings. Nice amount of bars/shops to explore.

I stayed at La Tania, a village outside Courchevel but part of the full ski area. Cheaper and smaller than the main town, with great runs back down to it from the Courchevel village valley. Ideal for a more cost conscious stay. However, it is at one extremity of the region, so it's a long slog to get across to explore the other end of The 3 Valleys and get back again.

Overall we believe the location cost is Overrated and way to expensive. The city overall looks rundown, the buildings had seen better days. The sidewalk were full of ice. It should have been cleaned. Prices are not in line with the services. Highly Overrated. The "old look" of the wood is obtained by lack of maintenance and literally bad wood and also the roads are full of holes ... and cracks. I don't mind to pay but at least lets get the price in line with the quality.

Courchevel 1850 is renowned for its exclusive shops and restaurants but it is not for the faint-hearted in terms of costs! L'aventure restaurant is to be avoided: overpriced, bad food, poor service; we ordered a side of mashed potatoes but the waiter failed to tell us that the dish already came with mashed potatoes as a side! Starters were almost inedible, mains tasty but cold. Small details big difference to the enjoyment factor, especially when you're paying top dollar. Le Chalet des Pierres on the slopes is lovely with a great atmostphere and excellent service.

Room, view, room service. Service and staff at spa and ski room & shop were fantastic. The location is perfect when going to ski as ski-in/ski-out option. Don’t take this hotel if you are only interested in walks and visiting the village. There is no way to the village, other than taking the hotel’s on request shuttle (only 1850 Courchevel is served but no other areas) or walking along the car route
