Very friendly couple, we got offered a welcome drink and could leave our bicycles in the garage. Wlan was excellent and it was an overall pleasant stay, rich breakfast with selfmade things. Quiet area and many extras in the bathroom in case of need. I would recommend this accomodation to my friends.

I was looking for a calm and relaxing stay and I found it here at Le Fier Paon. Many thanks to the wonderful hosts, Robin & Tamara, who offered a warm welcome, including a bottle of rosé in the fridge. It's not often that you find hosts who are so immediately sensitive to their guests' need for either companionship and suggestions or the complete opposite! They were on hand when needed but otherwise gave me the peace I was looking for and for that I am very grateful. The lovely gite was both spacious and comfortable, beautifully and tastefully decorated and very comfortable - a great deal of attention has been paid to the furnishing of the gite and I found everything arranged in a thoughtful and practical manner. I barely moved from the reading corner on the mezzanine, the armchairs were perfect! The kitchen was very well equipped (sharp knives!!) and everywhere was spotlessly clean. There was a choice of lovely seating areas outside and parking was very secure in the gated courtyard. As a woman travelling alone, I felt very safe here. I hope to return here soon and next time I would like to explore more of the beautiful countryside surrounding the gite.

Large and comfortable room. Everything is still brand new and very clean. Great bed we slept like a log. Perfect for stayover from Spain to Holland. Dogs are allowed. Our dogs loved it too!

This hotel was a nice surprise. When we arrived, we discovered that it was under reconstruction, but a room was ready for us and no noises disturbed us during the stay. In the room, we were happy to discover a brand-new shining shower and other newly installed equipment. A british-style 2-tub sink was a bit of surprise, but it did not bother us. The room was fine and big enough, the bed was comfortable, and all was nice. All was very clean. The stuff was super-friendly, especially the hotel owner was nice to us. And the breakfast!! It was superb! I’d stay there again for the breakfast alone. All in all, it’s an extremely nice place with excellent breakfast, very well suited for and warm-welcoming cycling or hiking travellers. It’s a real gem on the road! Maybe the only thing that we'd recommend to add would be a door or at least a curtain separating the toilet from the room. Even though there is sort of a wall, it feels... unusual. Probably it's in the reconstruction plans...

Exceptional ! The owners are very helpful and make you feel welcome immediately on arrival. The location is great, ouwith the busy traffic area but just a very short walk to the centre. Secure parking, a lovely dining room and just a pleasure to be there.

The food and the hospitality. Tapas and wine when we arrived. The evening meal was outstanding I had beef tartare served on marrow bone with crispy bread.the main course was oxtail not everybody's taste but I was in heaven. No matter what you like there is a dish for you that puts spainish food on another level.
