We arrived late and have been welcomed by a very attentive young men who made some phonecalls to find an (still) open restaurant for us. He gave us helpful information and recommendations and we choose a nice place with wonderful food (Millésime Mâcon) for a late dinner! We especially liked the hotels breakfast and would come back for it. Easygoing and welcoming, wonderful cheese, high quality food, very friendly host!

The room was small and basic but it was clean. The shower was hot and had excellent pressure. The room had reverse cycle air con which was very welcome because Mâcon was freezing when we were there. The staff were the highlight of our stay. They helped us so much with organising taxis despite us knowing very limited french. Breakfast was yummy, locally sourced and they even cooked waffles to order. I highly recommend Fasthotel Mâcon.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. A kettle and coffee/tea were nice. The new owner cooks himself and makes guests feel welcome. It was a fantastic experience. So far, the best Campanile hotel and the best dining experience.

An elevator would be welcome, and a slightly more spacious bathroom would be appreciated. The shower cubicle was a bit cramped. A small bottle of chilled water in the room would have been welcome during this heatwave.

The area is perfect for exploring the shops and restaurants. There was a restaurant right behind the hotel, which was delicious. The roads are perfect, as are the connections. Absolutely nothing, everything is fine there.

Absolutely not recommended.

Absolutely not recommended. The whole hotel smelled musty, thick with air freshener, no elevator, everything was completely run-down, leaky wooden windows, breakfast with the cheapest food. Reception was staffed until 9 pm. The only good things were the parking and TV.

A basic overnight hotel near the highway. Small rooms with well-insulated windows and quiet air conditioning. A fenced, gated parking lot is available at night. Those who prefer chain restaurants can eat nearby, e.g., Buffalo Steak House.

Everything was as we expected.

Everything was as we expected. We were looking forward to dining with you, but it wasn't available. Since my husband has very limited mobility, and we'd stayed there before and the meal was good, we thought we'd go back. We hope to see it signposted when we're on our way again in the fall. The location set within mature trees was very lovely and the outside space is also very welcoming, with options for sitting in the shade or sun. The hotel has a certain charm. We chose this because it was en-route to Orange. We made the most of the local scenic roads to the south-west and took a mini tour to Mount Brouilly and various cols to the west for the panoramic views. The pool was available for our stay, because of the good weather, which was a nice surprise, even though we didn't have time to use it.

The village of Chaintre is on the top of the hill surrounded by vineyards. The flat is big and beautiful with a large bathroom. The owner is friendly and helpful. I will certainly return there.
