Loved this place. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious, but be warned access to the rooms are up very old lovely stone spiral staircase. The breakfast is very good and the evening meals were great.

The room retained original features with thick walls, the old fireplace and hidden sink, but had been upgraded to good modern standards. Lionel the host was excellent and this is definitely an area to explore. Combined with a good homemade dinner at the Hotel du Pont this was a very traditional authentic French experience.

Guest rooms built in a restored 17th century house. Our lower level guest room was tastefully furnished as if it were the proprietors own suite. Outdoor seating patio at our door and a large patio above. Splendid vistas. Large attractive 3rd level patio and garden. Breakfast in tasteful furnished main living and dining room. Very, very good coffee and breakfast items. Town has two large streams, beautiful bridges and well restored and kept 17th/18th century homes. Nice walking paths adjacent to river. Highly recommend this country retreat.
