We loved the stay, it feels like home away from home. The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good as you can see from the pictures took from others. It is a loft room so we have all the privacy. The beds are comfortable, room is very clean and well decorated. The dressing table made my day! And you can park your car inside the gate. The house is located about 15 mins drive from Amboise, very good location to stay if you would like to the visit the different Chateaus in the Loire Valley. The host also give us discount tickets for 2 Chateaus so we get to buy tickets at group price!

L'Aubinière is just the way I would like a hotel to be: located in a quiet village but not far away from many beautiful places to visit, with outstanding kitchen - a really fantastic breakfast and a great dinner we thoroughly enjoyed (and what a fine wine list). We had a lovely room in the main building thankfully with air conditioning which ensured a good nights sleep in the very comfortable bed . Dinner and breakfast were excellent with both taken out on the terrace overlooking the countryside . Whilst it is the perfect stop over en route through France we intend to make the effort and come back for a longer stay in future.

There is nothing to do or see in Cangey itself.

There is nothing to do or see in Cangey itself. The Cottages are located outside Fleuray, an other and even smaller and emptier village on a small 9 holes course, with no driving range, synthetic grass tee boxes and greens, with no par 5 and a very short par 3 requiring a lob wedge. Don't see any reason to play it twice. Amboise is a nice touristic city in the neighborhood, but 25 ton30 min drive away.

We had a great experience at Le Fleuray! First off, dinner and breakfast were amazing. The hotel was located in a quiet area perfect for a restful holiday, but still close enough to most of the major chateaux. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and we also loved the decor, a little old fashioned, but so so soso cute and charming. Just all around the most lovely and comfortable place we stayed at on our Loire valley trip!

Beautiful country house in a very quiet peaceful countryside location. We were recommended this hotel by our friends and it certainly lived up to their high standards. The restaurant was amazing, very high quality food and wines. Lovely garden area with outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. Staff were very friendly and helpful - we would certainly return without hesitation. Its a shame we were only there for one niight.
