Very nice hotel, well designed, very comfortable bed, quiet, excellent breakfast with homemade products, very close to the entrance of Chateau de Chaumont. The restaurant has a limited menu but the tastes and perfumes are superb.

We liked the fact that this is no longer a corporate hotel and that it run by a family who work well together. The breakfast was good. There was a choice of cooked food and a range of cold cuts etc. The bread especially the fruit bread was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at La Parenthèse. Having the whole of the top floor ( bedroom , sitting area with tea & coffee facilities ,bathroom & toilet) to ourselves was a real bonus. The accommodation was very comfortable and we had a peaceful night’s sleep. The hosts were lovely people and we were treated more like family than paying guests. We enjoyed a very nice dinner and evening both of which we shared with the hosts. We also enjoyed a varied and plentiful breakfast including eggs, yoghurt, homemade Brioche with homemade jams . We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here and will certainly be returning. Thank you Corinne & Lélio for a memorable stay.

Very accommodating and friendly hosts. It was a little difficult to find but really lovely once there. We were on bikes so the hosts drove us to a local store for dinner supplies. Delicious homemade yogurt and cakes for breakfast.

Warm friendly host. A delightful breakfast prepared each day with a distinctive personal touch of home baking. Helped us with booking restaurants, and also some personal laundry needs. The best and freshest breakfast selection we have had travelling France in the last 3 weeks The Bistro in the evening offered an excellent selection of dishes cooked exceptionally well and great value The dish of the day was also always very good Awielie’s attention to detail with regards to all aspects of the running of her hotel was spot on and she provided us with excellent information to re visiting the local attractions the perfect host If you want to explore this part of the Loire this is definitely the hotel to stay in

I would say that the very high rating at Booking is justified. It is a really nice hotel and when the weather is good, it is great to have dinner on the terras outside ! Enough parking space directly behind the hotel, possibility to hire bicycles. Very friendly reception. Soft carpet in the staircases !

Lovely hotel. Staff friendly and really helpful. Clean, well-appointed rooms with bonus of a nice balcony. Comfortable bed. Great for exploring the Loire area. Great restaurant - we ate there for dinner one evening and breakfast both days

It's modern and clean and the staff were friendly. Its the right hotel but in the wrong location. If you are travelling and want to stop off overnight, and not worry about seeing anything, then this place is ideal.
