We liked everything about this property. From the host and cook to the accommodations, all was perfect. The two owners Sandrine and Christof go out of their way to make everything perfect which they succeed with ease. The room was outstanding and the meal that is offered is also outstanding. If you are looking for a quiet eloquent stay in a small village in a beautiful property, this is the place.

Welcoming hosts, very attentive and friendly. Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed (no plastic undersheet thankfully, I find them most uncomfortable). Monsieur recommended a local restaurant which was very traditional and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent, crepes made with Calvados, homemade confiture, cheese and fresh bread plus some small cakes somewhat like madeleines (I think they were called called “financiers“). On the morning of our departure we were invited to pick walnuts from the tree in the garden, which we promptly did. Plastic bags were even supplied! When we returned home the walnuts were dried and they were absolutely delicious. Thoroughly recommend this establishment.

We totally LOVED everything! Florence's attention to detail was very wonderful: from the beautifully appointed, comfortable gypsy caravan, to the provision of wellies and bike stands, and many other thoughtful little details, and in the morning a perfect breakfast in Florence's gorgeous kitchen/living room in front of her magnificent log burner. And then there's Florence herself, a wonderfully friendly lady, who seemed to know just what was needed and when. We've stayed in all sorts of places on our December cycling trip, and this has been the best so far by a long way.

Big thanks to Stephan and Christoff for making our holiday in Normandy so memorable ! Stephan and Christoff are such warm and friendly hosts. La Thérèsienne is a stunning house and in such an idyllic setting. Christoff is passionate about nature and flowers and this reflects in the gorgeous garden and surrounding fields. The breakfast was delicious !Stephan makes his own home-made jams which were to die for! I will definitely plan on staying here again and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

You can use two sets of stylish garden furniture, relax on comfortable loungers, or light a barbecue. The hostess is friendly and discreet, she speaks English. It's not every day that you have the opportunity to live in a real chateau. The place is beautiful, quiet and charming.
