We had the most amazing time here with the lovely Carole. As soon as we arrived she made us feel welcome and showed us into her wonderful home ( you have to see it to believe it). Really excellent small hotel run by two Dutchmen who speak 4 languages. And who take pride in cooking several plats du jour. Also much better breakfast than you usually get in France. They have refurnished the hotel with good taste, style, panache and unfailing good humour. Sadly they see very few English so come on chaps and make the detour. Our Basset Hound also enjoyed their stay.

Beautiful restored chateau with full facilities. The staff could not be more helpful bringing a large armchair into our room for my husband at our request. Unfortunately we missed out trying the restaurant for dinner but had a delicious supper in the room with large cold plates from their special room menu (limited but excellent). Great breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were shown to our room and every aspect was explained. The ambiance of the hotel was warm and period splendour, especially the staircase. We were intriged by the billiard room and there was a piano to play if I had the skill. There are many original features to this property, possibly Belle Epoch. The evening meal was 4 course, no choice but of excellent quality and good value. There was an extensive wine list. Breakfast was served from 7.15 and offered a wide range of cheese, meats, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, pastries, fruit flans, fruit salad, cereals, tea or coffee. We would recommend this hotel to friends.
