Beautiful furnished room in lovely old building. Set in the old part of the pretty village of Bellac overlooking the river. Continental Breakfast was fresh and plenty to eat. Received a warm welcome from Janet and Steve, hopefully will be back

The most welcoming of people in a gorgeous building. Large spacious room with lovely details, a really nice location with very friendly people. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away in the country side They were also very helpful as to provide dinner for us, as we were arriving on a bank holiday and most were closed. Very tasty meal for a low price.

Beyond expectation. Myriam and Lionel really are the perfect hosts. Our two night stay was really first class. It was like staying with friends. Price was terrific and doesn't reflect the quality of the accommodation and welcome. We both left reluctantly with very good feelings about our two-day stay. Would thoroughly recommend La Flambée.

The stay in this room was such a great experience. From the easy parking to the great breakfast (at a time you prefer) . The clean room, friendly people. It felt like a 5 start experience in rural France. Near the room you have your own patio with some shade for the hot days. The room is suprisingly cool ( it was 38C outside, but 21 inside) , without the need of an airco, which i liked. Owners can give you tips for your stay and went the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

Small village / town, lovely church to visit, the pub, Le...

Small village / town, lovely church to visit, the pub, Le Pont de la Pierre, by the river is a must visit as such a lovely setting and well worth the walk. The Restaurant Le Palais nice setting but we got overcharged and will not be frequenting this place on our future visits. The restaurant Le Cheval Blanc offered a set menu and it was fastfood with à la carte prices. Le Central Bar was good for drinks. Gets busy with visitors, ex-pats and local residents. Bellac itself is pretty quiet and a car is a must, lot of interesting beautiful places to visit in the nearby surroundings.

Easily found in the old part of Bellac down by the river. This beautiful old house has been so tastefully renovated and full of character. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. Near main routes, easy parking and shops and restaurants a short walk away. Our room was fabulous and the bed so comfortable. Steve was in charge as Janet was away and he was the perfect host. Huge breakfast provided and great welcome - would highly recommend.

I returned to Les Suites while my new house was having repairs. I have visited Bellac for years and this is the first guest house that meets my needs - safe, full of character, decent Wifi, cleaned with ecological products, comfy bed, and an approchable owner. Oh - and next door to my favourite bakery/diner!

An old hotel recently taken over, the new owner is trying to do everything to a high standard., with quality local produce. Look forward to visiting again to see how they get on.
