The hotel/bar/resto was most accomdating as we 3 cyclists arrived. Problem: it was on a French national holiday. Most local restos were closed as was their kitchen so they kindly offered us an excellent cheese and salad evening meal. Perfect! After cycling n Km we just needed beer, bread and salad. With that we were off to their really good bedrooms and, in the morning to a good breakfast

The hotel is in a very nice old historical building. It was amazing to read the history of this ancient residence started from the XIII century in the hotel book. We lived on the top attic floor, which we climbed up by magic internal compact spiral staircase that looked like an attached tower from the outside. There is a large parking lot behind the house where we put our car and very nice breakfast in the restaurant in the nearest building. The location turned out to be really very convenient for visiting castles. We visited 5 castles in 3 days :) The room had a bath and everything you need, even a teapot for evening tea after trips and heaters which is important for cold period. It was also ideal for us from the number of beds point of view, usually, it is very hard to find satisfactory rooms in hotels. So we really liked the hotel and the details of its history are just what you expect from heart of France. Thank you for a good vacation!

In any circumstance this is a super hotel - wonderful location, spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms, with a fab view from the balcony, plenty of good parking and a really excellent restaurant. In our case we experienced a problem with our classic car that necessitated us working on it during the day. All the staff were concerned with our well being (and that of the car!) throughout, supplying refreshment and encouragement. And, we were able to enjoy a super lunch between work! We now look forward to returning soon, to enjoy it fully without the need to become mechanics!

Wonderful place! IT is located in the quiet , charming village, among the vineyards. The building is very old with a long history. Room was spacious, well furnished, with amazing old fireplace and very comfortable bed. IT is clear that the host pays a lot of attention to all decor details. This hotel is also accustomed for cyclist. There is a well equiped, secured bike storage.
