This Studio is an excellent choice for a short stay in Bareges. It’s very clean and equipped with everything you need to prepare some food and rest after a day of hiking. Our host was extremely helpful and responsive and shared with us recommendations of shops and restaurants nearby. We were allowed to check in in the morning as we wanted to leave our bags before setting off to the mountains. The self check-in process was super simple and we were provided with detailed instructions of how to get to the apartment. If you need towels and bed linens, there’s an extra charge (as described in the offer), but remember to let the host know about it before your arrival.

Can’t say a single thing about this property as the owner cancelled our accommodation the night before we were to arrive. We were hiking in the mountains without any cellphone signal. We arrived in the town at 8pm after 3 days of hiking. All we wanted to do was go to the accommodation and shower and rest. We got an email saying that our accommodation was cancelled. It was the weekend of Tour De France in the small town and every single other accommodation option was fully booked. We were stranded. We had to travel by foot to another town which took 1 hour of walking in the dark until we eventually found another place to sleep. The owner did not even bother to call us or apologize. And I still have not received my feedback for the cancellation. So not only have I lost the money for this booking but I also had to pay an exorbitant amount on new accommodation. DO NOT STAY HERE.

We spent one night at this hotel and both found it was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in large or small anywhere in the world. Truly exceptional. The service is top class. The restaurant was friendly and served excellent food. The room was beautifully appointed and completely clean. The staff were both efficient and friendly and found out within minutes whether the nearby road over the Col de Tourmalet was open when we had failed to find the information ourselves.

A small spa town and access point to the Grand Tourmalet ski area, very pleasant as it's located in the forest. Free ski bus at the foot of our residence, access to the thermal baths for relaxation, many hiking opportunities, and a very good restaurant, LE BISTROT, highly recommended.

A very pleasant village, the rental was very quiet, and the welcome from the real estate agency where we picked up the keys was very friendly and provided good advice on walks and shops. We visited some magnificent sites.

The hikes around Barèges are accessible to everyone. The local restaurants are good, the value for money is reasonable, and the staff is friendly. Getting around Barèges is easy. Enjoy your stay; I recommend this place to nature lovers.

I really like Barèges; we go back regularly.

I really like Barèges; we go back regularly. But definitely not the marmots! There's an excellent butcher (Sabathier), a very good bar with excellent pizzas (Bar'Mary), and the thermal baths are pleasant. You can take lovely walks without needing a car.

And when I called the establishment they told me that it was full, and that they could not accommodate 1 person. It's a shame to have to book a room for 4 people when I was alone.

Great location along the road from Luz St Sevrain to Tourmalet. The hotel has a pleasant restaurant with good dishes, very tasty. They try to introduce Belgian dishes into their offering allowing for a culinary exploration into renowned Belgian gourmet cuisine. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

This is a traditional hotel in a good location. Parking is available nearby and the lady in charge was helpful and kind though pressed for time. Room was lovely. Breakfast OK. Liked it. Good choice for a couple of nights.
