Le Refuge d'Azay was perfect for our family visit to Loire valley. It is close to lots of castles and other activities that our small kids loved, as well as amenities. The house was well set up, with everything we needed in the kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms. The fenced outdoor area was also fantastic to sit in and watch the kids play. Valerie was very communicative and a great host. We would recommend anyone stay here!

Lovely dependance to the main house transformed into beautiful rooms (and extremely comfortable). The hosts were amazing, making us feel super welcome and even offering to cook us something, as we arrived late. We enjoyed as well a quick dip in the pool at night and it was lovely. The property and garden are beautiful and we wanted to being the yellow cat home!

Everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly, the environment was comfortable and intimate, the decor was beautiful, and it was amazing to soak in the jacuzzi while it was raining. This stay was an unforgettable experience for me. The hotel's dinner was also very delicious, the chef was handsome, and the ingredients were very fresh, sourced from the forest, private garden, and local suppliers. Surrounded by the forest at night and awakened by nature in the morning, it felt like we rediscovered our inner peace! We will definitely come back if we have the chance in the future!

The Chateau was amazing as were our hosts, Marie Cecile and Stephan. Even the dogs were mannerly, friendly and welcoming! Everything about our stay was superb. The setting of the Chateau with the cycle path at the end of the garden that brought you to Tours (using the bikes provide at the Chateau) was fabulous. The pool area was so luxurious we wanted to stay a week! Our room was beautiful as was every room in the Chateau. I cant wait to go back
