The level of service provided by Jeremy and Inga was second to none. They are friendly hosts who literally cannot do more for their guests. We had a great time and the property is in a fab location. I can highly recommend the breakfast at the hotel - this is generous and delicious, far better value for money than any of the offerings in local cafes. We will DEFINITELY be back, thank you Jeremy and Inga!

Really good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and well appointed with everything anyone would need for a short stay. Great view from room on to canal and ramparts. Dog friendly hotel. Excellent breakfast with a great choice of delicious fresh food on offer. Hotel provides parking pass for car parks around the town which is a great benefit. We felt very welcome at all times. Will definitely return. Would recommend very highly.

The breakfast was superb. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel was very relaxed. We loved being by the pool where there was plenty of space. The air conditioning was great. Room was a good size for 4 of us. A very relaxing stay. Easy also to use local bus to get to beaches. Canal walk is magnificent. Philippe makes fantastic cocktails too. We will visit again.

I liked everything about this hotel. It was clean, modern, comfortable, and in a good location for the attractions of the area. A small, friendly , well priced bar and seasonal pool provided. We didn't sample the breakfast as there's lots of options nearby. Free onsite parking is always a bonus.

We liked the very harmonious mix of ancient history and modern attractions. The map provided by the tourist office with 40 interesting points of interest marked for you to wander in your own time very useful. We had drinks in many places but ate in La Vigourie and IX Louis only. Both delicious and great value. Even though one of us has a few mobility problems walking around in short bursts worked fine; the town is small enough. Sunday market was excellent for end of season summer dresses, roast chickens and figs! Walking the ramparts (in flat shoes) is probably a must, educational animations along the way are well done with sub-titles. A week is a good stay length, take a short train ride to the sea-side ports, architectural surprises like La Grande Motte and out into the Camargue flats.

We went early to avoid the parking spaces getting full . Nice to do the touristy train ride . It gave us very interesting historical facts . Nice eateries around the beautiful square . And tourist prices , but that is to be expected . Walking along the marches and canals was nice too . Definitely worth a visit 👍

We were here overnight waiting for our barge and bike ride over the next week to Avignon. We were really surprised at the walled city and took a tour of the ramparts. Amazing structure. Restaurants abound in the walled city and we were told the prices drop as you move away from the central square. Our meal was excellent.

The uniqueness of the hotel within the ancient fortress...

The uniqueness of the hotel within the ancient fortress walls. There are ample shops and restaurants for the tourist. Walking around the ramparts gives an excellent perspective of the town's structure. Trips along the canals to see the wildlife are a must.

Stunning historical city , very accessible , loads to see and do. The ramparts walking tour is excellent with audio guide you can do at your leisure with loads of interesting towers to visit each one has a different media communication of the history of Aigues Mortes. We stayed at Villa Mazarin , highly recommended. Beautiful building inside the walls with its own history . staff super pleasant and helpful . Rooms beautifully appointed looking onto the courtyard garden. Only minus was no complimentary drinking water left in the bedroom. Otherwise perfect location with parking .

Aigues Mortes is the most beautiful walled town set on the edge of the Camargue salt pans. The town is lively day and night with a great choice of restaurants and bars and there are some lovely shops to browse in. Just strolling down all the little streets is delightful. Not far from the town you can see thousands of flamingos at the Parc Ornithologie and there is a good beach at Saint Maries de la Mer

The "room" is the top floor of an old town house in the historic center of Aigues-Mortes. The room was amazing and the balcony was absolutely fantastic. The pictures really doesn't do this place justice. The aircon was strong, and there was a fridge, microwave and a coffeemachine. There was a nice bathroom with a shower and a sink. The apartment (it more or less is) also had an office space with a small desk, even though we did not use it. The host also offered his parking card, so parking was free. Will absolutely come again!

A very comfortable hotel right inside one of the most remarkable towns in France. The proprietor has got a gem of a hotel there. And the inclusive breakfast served in a café/restaurant 50 metres from the hotel and situated on the main square, is a perfect spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast whilst people watching. I loved it!

Amazing location. An impressive renovation of a prime historical building gave birth to a vey special boutique hotel. Staff are vey friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful room. The breakfast on the terrace facing the Medieval city wall with Gregorian chants played in the background were indeed a notable highlight.

The hotel itself, as well as the common areas (reception, breakfast room, bar, pool, etc.), were great and beautifully designed. We also loved the proximity to the center of Aigues-Mortes. The staff was very friendly.
