I liked the fact that we had the privacy of a small apartment while still being served breakfast in the main building in the morning. The little garden was lovely too. The host was very welcoming and informative. The room was super comfortable and had a luxury jacuzzi bath. Truly exceptional.

Everything was perfect, from the information and instructions before arriving to advice whilst staying. The host family are lovely and offer great advice and assistance when required. It was the perfect vacation. The apartment view is amazing, we sat every night with the curtains open and watched the boats coming in and out of Klaksvik. The hot tub was a bonus! Everything we needed was there and high quality which made our stay comfortable. We fully intend to return soon.

My stay was so comfy and cozy! Property was easy to find, easy parking and check in was so so simple. Really well set up house, everything you could need for your stay. Loved that there were a few kitchen items left behind from others, made it super handy to cook (the supermarket is a 5 min walk away). Makes staying in low season easier for food. I paid directly using IMT when I arrived and Jensa made it super simple.

Sydrugota is a cute little town away from the hustle and...

Sydrugota is a cute little town away from the hustle and bustle. Like in most of the Faroes, the views are amazing. There are not a lot of tourists in town, so we got a real feel of what it was like to live there as a native. Soccer (football) is huge on the Faroes, and it was fun to play on the small field in town, which is next to a creek and looks out over the mountains and the fjord, and we also got to play midnight soccer on the pitch for the Vikingur team in nearby Nordragota. Sydrugota is centrally located, but you still have to take one of the tunnels, which are amazing feats of engineering but get expensive to use on a daily basis, to get to most destinations.
