Owners are so welcoming! You can feel how they love their place and want you to love it too. It is a perfect and comfortable stay for two people, with all the necessities in the kitchen and laundry. Location is really good, don’t worry that it is a bit off the main attractions. It is not a big deal, but the road to the village is worth a turn. The owner said about their plans for further development — can’t wait to come back and see!

The apartment was a comfortable base for exploring Faroe Islands. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen spacious and well equipped. It was a safe haven we returned to with pleasure after a day of hiking. Gudny was always available to answer all our questions and his brother even replied from a fishing boat in the North Sea :) All in all, it was a very good experience. Thank you!

The location could not be equaled, stunning views and absolute tranquility after all the visitors have left. Well equipped and very homely and all details covered in arrival communications and host very helpful. A great cafe too just across from the house entrance.

Big room, lovely location, great staff. Nice view, we were at the annex building. Comfortable bed. We were lucky that we got to change our booking by one day due to some flight issues even if the reservation was already paid, though communication was better by email than via here. Book your dinner in advance, there isn't anything else nearby anyway. Good food there, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Lilja is a gracious host, very friendly and warm and her house is a wonderful place to stay. I had a lovely time and we had great and interesting conversations, she gave me good recommendations and the breakfasts were delicious! I would recommend to anyone who wants to feel like home away from home (and the cats are so cute!) Hopefully will visit again!

Everything was perfect, from the information and instructions before arriving to advice whilst staying. The host family are lovely and offer great advice and assistance when required. It was the perfect vacation. The apartment view is amazing, we sat every night with the curtains open and watched the boats coming in and out of Klaksvik. The hot tub was a bonus! Everything we needed was there and high quality which made our stay comfortable. We fully intend to return soon.

After all the unforgettable views, you come to a small village that has everything that takes a traveler to the Faroe Islands: a church with a grass roof, a waterfall, the sea, a river and colorful little houses.
