We come here often, and this time I had booked another room for us for my friend's family who was visiting us. The service is always very prompt, attentive, and friendly, one really feels welcome. The staff goes beyond their way to make the guests' stay perfect. We also participated a "bug safari", which both the kid and the adults liked very much. The (rental) beach sauna was wonderful, we were swimming a lot in the lake. We also rented a "kota" (kind of a big teepee) and fried some burgers and sausages. Also got to try sup boarding for the first time (free of charge), the small lake is perfect for that. The dinner was delicious and very affortable, and our wishes were taken into account. We ordered to the room, so it took its while as the restaurant was really busy for the midsummer eve, but it was fine as we had time to play games on the balcony meanwhile.

The location is amazing. Breakfast is great. Because the accommodation was fully booked we were upgraded to the tent for one night. The tent is something special. However note, in the tent there is no running water (no shower and and a special toilet). You can shower in the sauna area which is a 100m walk.

It’s exactly what we wanted. Sauna with comfortable bedroom, hot tub and forest view. Cottage is close to the host’s house, but you have your own private space. Cottage and sauna were clean and tidy. Absolutely loved it. And it’s only 30 minutes from Helsinki. Perfect.
