We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Blue. The house is warm and inviting, and perfectly situated for visiting the Riisitunturi National Park, Ranua Zoo, the nearby Auttiköngäs waterfall, Rovaniemi and other attractions, while still being close to local shops and cafés. The lake view from the living room is breathtaking, and seeing reindeers wander through the garden added a truly magical moment to our trip. Check-in outside standard hours was smooth and very convenient. The house is spacious, quiet, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The internet was fast and reliable, and my son loved it so much he didn’t want to leave. Staying here made our holiday in Finland feel memorable and authentic. A fantastic place to stay - highly recommended.

Sauna and hot tub were amazing, and the bed in the glass igloo was very comfortable. The host had several dogs whom we were very happy to meet. The property is beautiful. It was a bit rough traveling between the glass igloo and main facilities given the exceptionally cold temperatures (-30 C and colder) during our stay, but it was worth it for the views and privacy.

Amazing guesthouse! There is everything you need, and the owners are absolutely lovely. Lots of great advice and genuine kindness. We were even able to see the Northern Lights right from the window of the small living room! Thank you again!! Lovely property a drive away from Ranua Zoo. This place is in the countryside, on a farm with dairy cows, and hosted by a really friendly family. The property is comfortable and spacious with all of the basics you will need (do go to the supermarket/shops before arriving as otherwise you have a long drive there and back). We slept very well, with no noise or disturbances (we were a family of 4, with 2 small kids). The sauna, overlooking the lake, is *really* something. Bring your swimclothes. House was in a great location. Quite remote, which makes it even better. Perfect size for two families. Kitchen was equipped very well with all the necessary equipment. I think it would be a great place to visit at summer as well. Only one hour drive from Rovaniemi. Absolutely no problems with the owner or key handover in out of the check in time.

We have just got back from the most perfect stay at Rentola! Me, my partner and our son travelled to Lapland to explore the area and of course see Santa, but our favourite part of the whole experience was this beautiful cottage! Mauri was there on arrival to show us around (which was so kind as our flight was delayed for 2 hours and it was so late when we arrived, so we were very grateful he waited for us.) On arrival we had a welcome pack which included biscuits for my son to decorate - very thoughtful and he loved this activity. They also bought games for him to play and decorations for him to decorate the tree which was so kind. It made us feel at home straight away! We are so grateful to have experienced this beautiful, cosy cottage. It’s got everything you need; comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, a private sauna and one of the best bits - a private hut with a fire pit! We loved sitting around the fire and having a bbq, drinking wine. It was perfect. Also everything was so clean and tidy. Oh and nice and warm! We were worried about the cold but it was so nice and warm inside the cottage. Surroundings were beautiful, it was so peaceful and waking up to the lake in the morning and watching the sunrise was a real highlight for me - absolutely stunning! The communication from both Mauri and Seija was fantastic from the moment we booked until the very end of our trip, it really made the whole experience so easy! We are already thinking about when we can next come back to Rentola as we loved it (and Lapland!) so much. Thanks Mauri and Seija for a fantastic stay!!

A unique, special place where you will find peace. Pure nature! We had a reindeer in the yard for a short visit :-) Miika, the owner, was very kind and helpful. We couldn‘t ask for more.
